Welcome to the new week, friends. Since October is upon us with its cooler temperatures (for most of us), the smell of fall in the air, and the Halloween festivities at the end of the month, this week's theme is all about October.
I have to admit that I'm not a fan of the scary, evil aspects of Halloween. I do like dressing up in fun costumes, though, and I definitely like candy! :) Pumpkins are always fun, so let's take a look at some dotty pumpkin items today.
1. Set of 3 Jack-O-Lantern hair clippies from Tre Sorelle Designs
2. Halloween Scandinavian Matryoshka Art Doll from Ravenhill
3. Little Pumpkin Pillow from The Buzy Bee
4. Polka Dot Pumpkin Squash Lampwork Earrings from Sara Libbey
5. Sweet Pumpkin pincushion from Stitcher & Scribbler
..............................................
So, do you display pumpkins on your porch or outside your house during this month? Do you use real ones or fake ones? How about a favorite pumpkin dish that you love? Pumpkin bread is definitely a yummy favorite of mine!
I can't wait to show you tomorrow's Dotty Giveaway! You will definitely want to stop back by for this one!
Until then, friends!
I just love them gourds ;)
Pumpkin Butter is one of my all time favorites. I'm whipping up a batch this week for some gifts - if they make it that far! I could eat the whole pot with a spoon!
Have a great week!

Last year, I dressed up for Halloween but not this year. Hubby dresses up for work. I think he said he's going to be Dopey this year. We usually display pumpkins on the front stairs so we'll probably pick up a few. This lady down the street sells them along with mums so we'll probably support her again this year. I would like to make some pumpkin bread but hubby doesn't like pumpkin so I'll have to share with my neighbor LOL
I have been adding canned pumpkin to my morning oatmeal and it's soooo yummy.
Happy Fall!

I made pumpkin soup for my dad last Halloween and he loved it. We don't celebrate Halloween over here as much as you do in the States but it is definitely becoming more popular. We get plenty of treats in for the kids when they are trick or treating.
