:: Let the Contest Begin! ::

Now that I’ve been blogging here for two and a half months, I thought it appropriate to ask for some feedback from you, my readers.

To encourage you to participate, I have decided to offer a $25 gift card to none other than . . . (drum roll, please) . . . Starbucks to one of you (randomly chosen) who provides me with some bloggy feedback.

What exactly am I looking for, you ask?

What I am in search of are specific ways to improve this dotty blog. Perhaps you have an idea for a creative weekly post, or perhaps you would like to see me feature a particular type of item more often.  Or perhaps you don’t like the way I arrange the posts (pictures at the top and commentary at the bottom).  I am open to any and all suggestions.

If you don’t have any suggestions for improvement, please feel free to comment just to say “hi,” but only those who offer specific suggestions will be entered to win the Starbucks gift card.

I hope that many of you will participate.  By the way, you can be entered in the drawing more than once, as long as each comment that you submit is a different, unique idea (and also one that no one has mentioned in the comments section yet).

I love your blog. It's quick and easy to read. Perhaps feature an interview with an artist monthly or weekly. I would like to know more about the artist and their creations. BUT keep it fairly short/simple. Thanks, Hazel

I like it- I just found it when a friend's alligator shoes were featured, and now I am a regular! The only thing I dislike is having to scroll up and down to read the comments on the pictures, but I don't have a good solution for that because I like having the pictures all grouped together. They look great that way!
Also... you must be the the most well-informed etsyer- I appreciate you doing some of the browsing work for me!

hi julie - i love starbucks, so i'm forced to think of a suggestion for your already wonderful blog :)

i liked the idea one blogger had of featuring one artist - that could be neat. & the color idea was great, too. also, maybe you could categorize by item - like a "sundress sunday" where you feature your favorite sundresses. just a thought :)

I really enjoy your blog too! I have found lots of great products and artists! I would suggest if you could make the pictures a link to the item instead of scrolling down, but I am not sure this is a possibility? But I always go to click on the picture every time.

i had another thought that you could post by area of the country, or city. like the top 6 polka dot items being sold from augusta, maine, or something like that.

ps - this is a legitimate suggestion, not just a ploy for that starbucks card :) even though i'm keeping my fingers crossed!!! haha!
