As a former English teacher, I am obviously a huge advocate of reading -- good for both the mind and the soul.  Let's all find a comfortable, quiet place, sip a cup of coffee/tea, and delve into these bookish features, shall we?

What a clever idea to cover a book in style!  I love this fun fabric, and there are more polka dots on the inside of the design that aren't visible in this picture.  Julia has so many beautiful fabric creations in her SimbiosisbyJulia Etsy shop.  You'll definitely see lots of polka dots there, too!

This item is perfect for the polka dot lovin' reader!  It allows you to mark your place in a book (like a bookmark) and you can also take notes on it (like a notebook) -- hence its name:  a book note.  Love that!  Visit Space Dog Studios for a variety of unique, whimsical items!

Hmmm . . . all this talk about books makes me want to pull down my old copy of Jane Eyre from the bookshelf.  Have you ever read that novel?  It's filled with wonderful subplots, one of the most memorable being the insane lady who lives in the attic of the main character's house!  You'd love it! :)

Fabrications by Lin has great picture frames. I bough a hanging ladder set as a Christmas gift last year and it was beautiful and very well made!

Thank you so much for this great feature! I am certainly doing my best to foster a love for reading with my own two little ones, Aidan 2 and Annie 1. Now, if I could just find some more time for myself to sit down with a good book...
